What a week it has been! It was a privilege and a once in a lifetime opportunity to have traveled with the nuns to bring the relics of Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta to different cities and states across the U.S. What an awesome experience! Hundreds of people gathered at various churches for a rare glimpse of the relics of one of the world’s most acclaimed and most revered spiritual leaders. At one point, approximately 1600 to 1800 people flocked to a church in less than 2 hours! This past week has been very overwhelming but it left a mark in my life that will be forever treasured, and will hold a sacred place in my heart. It was truly a blessing from God, a gift to be cherished, and I am grateful for this humbling encounter and for the inspiration gained.

Had a wonderful 4th of July with the ladies and the children at the shelter; had a long walk at the park with the nuns as well; the children simply had the grandest time, and the little ones wished to stay in the pool forever! Nice weather, great food, good company! I had fun myself! What a pleasant day, indeed.
